Responsibilities
The Cleaner will be responsible for a variety of custodial and maintenance tasks, including:
Sweeping, mopping, and washing floors and surfaces within buildings Operating cleaning equipment such as buffers, floor machines, and vacuum cleaners Vacuuming carpets and rugs in offices and public areas, including spot cleaning and shampooing when required Dusting and cleaning furniture, fixtures, exhibits, chairs, and horizontal surfaces Cleaning windows, glass doors, partitions, and interior/exterior surfaces Washing walls, trims, sills, and glass surfaces as part of routine cleaning Cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms, including restocking paper products and supplies Emptying waste bins and replacing liners in accordance with guidelines Collecting and disposing of building trash in designated areas Identifying and reporting maintenance issues such as clogged fixtures or lighting faults Performing periodic deep cleaning tasks such as high dusting, polishing surfaces, and wall washing Removing snow or debris from entrances and walkways where applicable Completing any additional duties as assigned by supervisors
Requirements
