Kingston Council’s Community Support Team, within the Aged and Disability AccessCare department, focuses on helping residents remain independent and socially connected, providing transport and other essential support services to enhance quality of life.
Responsibilities
As a Community Bus Driver, you will be responsible for:
- Transporting bus passengers safely and courteously, ensuring compliance with all regulations
- Observing the health and wellbeing of passengers and reporting any concerns confidentially
- Planning and monitoring rosters and transport routes to support scheduled activities
- Engaging with external stakeholders to support passengers in various activities
- Maintaining professionalism and demonstrating the City of Kingston’s values in daily operations
Requirements
To be eligible for this position, applicants must have:
- A valid Driver’s License in Victoria with endorsements required for bus operation
- Driver accreditation, minimum Light Rigid license, and willingness to obtain a Commercial Passenger Vehicle (CPV) License
- Working with Children’s Check and Police Check
- Legal right to work in Australia
