Responsibilities
As an Operator, your main duties will include:
- Managing materials and vehicles from allocation to return, including administrative tasks
- Supporting the planning, preparation, and execution of operational bases both domestically and internationally
- Ensuring the readiness and availability of operational equipment and materials
- Participating in short-term and planned missions within Switzerland and abroad
- Assisting in the development of logistics and support processes, particularly in administration and digitalization
- Continuously updating your knowledge and training in operational logistics
Requirements
To qualify for this role, candidates should meet the following criteria:
- Completed vocational training with several years of experience in (military) logistics
- Completion of Swiss military training (recruit school and NCO or officer training preferred)
- Eligibility for military service and medical fitness for international assignments
- Experience in information and communication technology, especially IT-related systems
- Valid Category B driving license (additional licenses such as C, C1, D, D1 are an advantage)
- Willingness to participate in both planned and short-notice deployments
- Proficiency in a second national language and strong English skills (minimum First Certificate level)
