Responsibilities
As a Food Service Helper, you will support both kitchen and front-of-house operations. Your key duties include:
- Bringing clean dishes, flatware, and other items to serving areas and setting tables
- Carrying and replacing linen as needed
- Cleaning and sanitizing dishwasher mats, carts, and waste disposal units
- Clearing and cleaning tables, trays, and chairs
- Operating dishwashers to clean dishes, glassware, and flatware
- Placing cleaned dishes in designated storage areas
- Replenishing condiments and supplies at tables and serving stations
- Serving customers at counters or buffet tables
- Taking customer orders accurately and efficiently
