Responsibilities
As an Engineer specializing in landscaping and public realm projects, you will:
- Develop comprehensive landscape and public realm designs aligned with project goals and local regulations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate landscape elements with architectural and engineering plans.
- Conduct site analyses and environmental impact assessments to guide design decisions.
- Prepare detailed construction documents, including plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Oversee project implementation to ensure compliance with design intent, quality standards, and timelines.
- Incorporate sustainable practices and native plant species into landscape designs.
- Coordinate with local authorities and stakeholders to secure approvals and permits.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources effectively.
- Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in landscape engineering.
- Contribute to the creation of aesthetically pleasing and environmentally responsible urban spaces.
Requirements
To qualify for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in landscape engineering or a related discipline.
- Proven expertise in designing and implementing public realm projects.
- Strong understanding of Riyadh’s urban planning regulations and environmental considerations.
- Familiarity with local flora and environmental conditions in Saudi Arabia.
- Ability to manage complex projects and deliver results within deadlines and budgets.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred.
- Willingness to work on-site in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
