Responsibilities
As a Cleaner, your key responsibilities will include:
- Cleaning common areas, guest rooms, vacant units, and renovated suites
- Performing tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, and steam cleaning carpets and rugs
- Changing linens and ensuring rooms are well-prepared
- Disinfecting and polishing kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
- Washing walls, windows, ceilings, and window coverings
- Cleaning cupboards, cabinets, and other storage areas
- Maintaining a clean, trash-free environment throughout the property
- Removing snow from walkways and common areas when required
- Using industrial cleaning equipment and chemical treatments for carpets
- Participating in on-call rotations when necessary
- Completing additional building maintenance duties as assigned
Requirements
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Previous experience in physically demanding or heavily soiled environments
- Strong commitment to quality and attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and handle cleaning equipment and supplies
- Comfortable working with industrial-strength cleaning products
- Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation
- Ability to provide a clean criminal record check
- Flexibility to work overtime or be on call when needed
