Responsibilities
As a Welder at Red Flame Industries, you will:
- Complete welds according to both internal and external codes, specifications, and requirements
- Collaborate with technicians to support the execution of various projects
- Mentor and guide welding assistants, contributing to team development
- Work as part of the hot tap crew to ensure all jobs meet RFI standards
- Maintain professional and respectful relationships with clients and quality control representatives
- Operate welding equipment using processes such as GTAW, GMAW, SMAW, and OAW
- Use flame cutting equipment to prepare and fit metal components
Duties
- Perform all welding tasks in accordance with RFI and industrial standards
- Assist the Hot Tap Crew in completing projects efficiently and effectively
- Participate in required training programs to maintain and enhance skills
- Carry out additional duties as assigned by supervisors
Requirements
- Red Seal Journeyman certification
- Alberta B Pressure Welding Ticket
- Completion of external F3/F4 and F4 (no backing) certifications
- Completion of Internal C4 testing
- Ability to read, interpret, and follow technical procedures
- Willingness to complete internal training as outlined in the RFI Training Matrix
