Responsibilities
As part of the Welding Workshop team, you will contribute to both technical and operational activities. Key responsibilities include:
- Welding, assembling, and testing hoses to meet customer specifications.
- Applying techniques such as TIG welding and hydraulic crimping.
- Inspecting finished products to ensure compliance with standards such as ASME IX.
- Managing workshop stock levels and ensuring timely servicing of equipment like pumps and reels.
- Processing and validating customer orders with attention to detail.
- Collaborating with manufacturing and distribution teams for efficient order handling and delivery updates.
- Monitoring job costing to maintain accuracy and customer satisfaction.
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment in line with OSH requirements.
- Communicating professionally with customers and internal teams.
- Attending training sessions and supporting team members when required.
Requirements
Candidates applying for this role should meet the following requirements:
- Trade qualification with proven experience in stainless steel TIG welding and purge welding.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Experience in a manufacturing or workshop environment.
- Full and valid driver’s license; forklift license is an advantage.
- Eligibility to work in New Zealand (citizen or valid work visa).
