Position Summary
Inspect guest rooms, public areas, pools, and other areas after Housekeepers clean them. Make sure each area meets the required quality standards. Also, run sold room reports and check room status.
Find rooms with different or incorrect status information. Then, set cleaning priorities and update the status of departing guest rooms. Help Housekeeping management with daily work and activities.
Work with the Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry teams. In addition, report room status problems to the Front Desk. Help resolve these problems when needed.
Prepare and share changes in room assignments. Also, communicate important issues to the next shift. Complete all required paperwork.
Employee Support and Management
Help management with hiring and training employees. Also, help with scheduling, evaluations, counseling, discipline, motivation, and coaching.
Follow all company, safety, and security rules. Report maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, and injuries. Complete required safety training and certifications.
Keep your uniform and personal appearance clean and professional. Protect company information and company assets. Also, keep private information confidential.
Guest Service
Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards. Understand and respond to their service needs. Assist people with disabilities when needed. Also, thank guests with genuine appreciation.
Use clear and professional language when speaking with others. Build positive working relationships with employees. Listen to their concerns and respond in a proper way.
Make sure all quality expectations and standards are followed.
Physical Requirements
Move, lift, carry, and place objects weighing up to 55 pounds without help. For objects weighing more than 55 pounds, get assistance.
Push and pull a loaded housekeeping cart and other work-related machinery. These tasks may take place on sloping or uneven surfaces.
Reach overhead and below the knees. Also, bend, twist, pull, and stoop as needed. Stand, sit, kneel, or walk for long periods during a full work shift.
Grasp, turn, and handle objects of different sizes and weights. These tasks require fine motor skills and good hand-eye coordination.
Computer and Work Duties
Use computers or point-of-sale systems to enter and find work-related information. Read and check information in different formats, including small print.
Finally, perform other reasonable job duties requested by Supervisors.
Preferred Qualification
Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience.
Supervisory Experience: At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
License or Certification: None.
