Responsibilities
As a Facilities Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of building systems across luxury developments. Your key duties will include:
- Overseeing the daily operation and maintenance of MEP systems
- Monitoring HVAC systems, chillers, pumps, elevators, lighting, and Building Management Systems (BMS)
- Implementing preventive and corrective maintenance programs
- Coordinating with facility management service providers, contractors, and vendors
- Ensuring compliance with UAE regulations, including Dubai Municipality, Civil Defence, and DEWA standards
- Conducting site inspections, audits, and asset condition assessments
- Supporting energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives
- Managing emergency situations such as system failures and fire alarms
- Assisting in project handovers, including testing, commissioning, and documentation
- Maintaining accurate records using CAFM systems
- Collaborating with property management and customer service teams
- Ensuring properties meet luxury standards in cleanliness, functionality, and aesthetics
Requirements
To be considered for this role, candidates should meet the following criteria:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 5+ years of UAE experience in facilities management
- At least 3+ years of real estate experience
- Strong expertise in MEP systems, BMS operations, and maintenance practices
- Familiarity with UAE authority regulations and compliance standards
- Proficiency in CAFM software and Microsoft Office
