Responsibilities
As a Stockroom Clerk, you will manage daily stockroom operations and ensure efficient coordination across departments. Your responsibilities include:
- Performing incoming inspections in accordance with quality procedures
- Receiving parts and materials into inventory systems
- Issuing parts and materials to work orders and sales orders
- Processing incoming and outgoing parts following detailed work instructions
- Operating a forklift for receiving deliveries and shipping materials
- Handling and processing rework parts
- Conducting inventory audits and investigating discrepancies
- Submitting audit reports to supervisors for approval
- Completing general administrative tasks to support department efficiency
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of all work areas
- Supporting and developing continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
To qualify for this role, candidates should meet the following criteria:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain Government of Canada Secret security clearance
- Ability to work on-site at CFB Greenwood, Nova Scotia
- Compliance with all base access requirements
