Responsibilities
- Verify financial documents, postings, and entries for accuracy and proper coding
- Maintain and secure cash, records, and financial files in compliance with company policies
- Record, store, and analyze financial data using computerized systems
- Classify and summarize financial information using journals, ledgers, and accounting tools
- Complete period-end closing procedures and prepare financial reports
- Conduct periodic audits of cashier banks following standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Manage petty cash, cashier banks, and contractual financial records
- Identify and report cash variances, ensuring proper documentation and resolution
- Act as a liaison between the hotel and banking or armored transport services
- Participate in internal and external audits, ensuring regulatory compliance
- Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and adherence to company policies
- Support team collaboration and maintain positive working relationships
- Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors
Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of related work experience in cashiering or finance
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial systems
- Ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail in financial tasks
- Capability to handle physical tasks such as lifting light objects when required
- Flexibility to work full-time schedules as needed
