Job Overview
- Position: Truck Driver
- Salary Range: $48,000 – $50,000 (Total compensation up to $52,000)
- Location: Canada
- Employment Type: Full-time (Existing position)
Responsibilities
As a Truck Driver, your key responsibilities will include:
- Transporting materials to and from customer sites and local locations
- Preparing and managing shipping documentation for assigned routes
- Loading trucks efficiently while meeting delivery schedules
- Using forklifts or pump trucks to organize and maximize trailer space
- Securing materials to prevent damage during transportation
- Delivering products to construction sites, warehouses, and customer facilities
- Unloading goods according to site-specific requirements
- Obtaining customer signatures as proof of delivery
- Following optimized or assigned delivery routes
Requirements
To qualify for this role, candidates must meet the following:
- Valid G driver’s license
- Clean driver’s abstract (no recent violations or at-fault accidents)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification
- Dependable, reliable, and self-motivated work ethic
- Successful completion of a criminal record check
