Responsibilities
- Perform welding and fabrication tasks using SMAW (Shielded Metal Arc Welding) and related techniques.
- Assemble, install, and repair metal structures, components, and equipment according to specifications.
- Inspect and maintain welding tools, machines, and equipment to ensure safe operation.
- Follow technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders accurately.
- Adhere to company safety standards and participate in required safety trainings.
- Support other mechanical or maintenance tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
- Graduate of a 2- or 3-year technical or vocational course related to welding or metal fabrication.
- Holder of a valid TESDA NC II – SMAW (Shielded Metal Arc Welding) certification.
- Must have completed basic safety orientation training or equivalent seminars.
- Preferably with previous experience in welding and fabrication work.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
