Progeco Group is seeking a Welder / Tubist to operate primarily in the workshop, handling the preparation, assembly, and welding of stainless steel and carbon steel pipelines and metal structures. Responsibilities
As a Welder / Tubist, your main duties will include:
- Performing industrial piping work, including tracing, preparation, cutting, beveling, bending, assembling, and mounting pipelines.
- Installing pipelines following isometric drawings, process schematics, and plant layouts.
- Verifying alignment, dimensions, and fittings for accuracy.
- Executing TIG, electrode, and wire welding on light, medium, and heavy metal structures.
- Preparing components, including cutting, beveling, cleaning, and positioning materials.
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings, isometric diagrams, and workshop schematics.
- Complying with welding specifications (WPS) and reporting any non-conformities.
- Supporting quality control and testing activities.
- Being available for short business trips to client sites as required.
Requirements
- Technical diploma or professional qualification in mechanics or related fields.
- Proven experience in TIG, electrode, or wire welding.
- Ability to work with stainless steel and carbon steel pipelines and structures.
- Good manual skills, precision, and operational autonomy.
- Reliability, attention to detail, and teamwork capability.
- Availability for short-term transfers within Italy.
- Welding certification (TIG/electrode/wire) is preferred.
Skills and Desired Knowledge
- Strong welding skills on multiple metal types.

Benefits
- Full-time, permanent contract under CCNL Metalmeccanica Industria, 13 monthly payments.
- Annual salary: €28,000 – €35,000.
