Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain all public areas including lobbies, corridors, elevators, lounges, restrooms, restaurants, and meeting spaces.
- Ensure floors, furniture, fixtures, and decorative elements remain clean and well-presented at all times.
- Monitor public areas regularly and address any cleanliness issues promptly.
- Replenish and arrange amenities in public restrooms to maintain high hygiene standards.
- Greet guests politely and provide assistance when necessary while maintaining professionalism.
- Respond quickly and courteously to guest requests related to cleanliness or support.
- Coordinate with housekeeping supervisors for urgent cleaning tasks or special arrangements.
- Follow proper cleaning procedures, equipment handling, and chemical usage guidelines.
- Report maintenance issues, damages, or safety concerns to the appropriate department.
- Assist with deep cleaning projects, event preparations, and operational support during busy periods.
- Handle lost and found items according to hotel policies.
Requirements
- Previous experience in housekeeping or public area cleaning in a luxury or five-star hotel environment is preferred.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Physical ability to perform cleaning duties throughout the work shift.
