Responsibilities
- Assist in daily kitchen operations, ensuring consistent quality and presentation of all dishes
- Supervise, mentor, and train kitchen staff on food preparation, safety standards, and sanitation procedures
- Support menu execution and contribute to seasonal, creative culinary offerings
- Manage prep lists, maintain inventory, and support cost control initiatives
- Coordinate with Head Chef and management to ensure smooth service during peak hours
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient back-of-house environment
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in a similar role (Sous Chef or Lead Line Cook preferred)
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Hands-on experience in restaurant and kitchen operations
- Passion for cooking, teamwork, and local craft food culture
- Availability to work mornings, evenings, and weekends as needed
