Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor CCTV and alarm security systems
- Control access to restricted areas and verify authorized entry
- Conduct foot patrols to ensure facility safety and compliance
- Handle key control, including cutting and issuing keys when required
- Issue badges and maintain accurate identification records
- Provide customer service to personnel and visitors
- Maintain phone etiquette while handling communication systems
- Assist in inventory and equipment control related to security operations
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must be a U.S. citizen (required for federal clearance)
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to pass a physical exam, drug screening, and federal background check
- Fluent in English—able to read, write, and understand security regulations and documentation
Preferred Experience
- Experience with CCTV and alarm monitoring systems
- Previous security or surveillance operations background
- Knowledge of security system operations and access control procedures
