Responsibilities
As a Manufacturing Labour team member, you will contribute to efficient production operations while ensuring safety and quality compliance. Key responsibilities include:
- Setting up and operating TECCO machines for production processes.
- Removing rolls, packaging products according to specifications, and conducting quality checks.
- Participating in toolbox talks, daily pre-start meetings, and shift changeovers.
- Identifying workplace risks and hazards while adhering to site safety rules and PPE requirements.
- Operating multiple machines as allocated and reporting performance issues to supervisors.
- Cleaning and maintaining machinery in line with scheduled maintenance.
- Supporting teamwork and maintaining smooth workflow across the production line.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, candidates should meet the following criteria:
- Availability to perform shift work between 4:00 am and 12:00 midnight (15% loading applies).
- Previous experience in a production or assembly environment (preferred).
- Valid forklift licence (essential).
- Ability to safely perform manual tasks and operate machinery.
