Responsibilities
As a Kitchen Attendant at Oaks Auckland Hotel, the successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring smooth and efficient kitchen operations. Core responsibilities include:
- Maintaining cleanliness and sanitisation of all kitchen areas and equipment
- Operating, cleaning, and maintaining kitchen equipment in line with safety standards
- Assisting cooks with food preparation and ingredient assembly
- Providing general support to kitchen staff to ensure efficient daily operations
- Complying with Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) and all regulatory requirements
- Supporting stock control, storage, and organisation of kitchen supplies
- Working on a rotating roster including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
Requirements
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Minimum of 12 months’ experience in a similar kitchen or hospitality role
- Legal working rights within New Zealand
- Ability to work part-time on a flexible rotating roster
- Reliability and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
