Key Responsibilities
- Pruning: Trim and maintain apple trees to promote healthy growth and fruit production.
- Hand-Thinning: Carefully remove excess fruit to improve overall crop quality.
- Harvesting: Pick apples efficiently while ensuring minimal bruising and maintaining quality standards.
- Planting: Assist in planting new trees and maintaining orchard rows.
- General Farm Tasks: Support additional activities such as equipment cleaning, sorting, and field maintenance as needed.
Requirements
- Physically fit and capable of performing repetitive manual tasks.
- Ability to stand, bend, or sit for long periods.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Reliable transportation to and from the worksite at flexible hours.
- Willingness to work in varied weather conditions (heat, rain, cold).
- Positive attitude, teamwork mindset, and ability to take direction well.
