Responsibilities
Safe and Timely Transportation
- Safely transport healthcare staff between patients’ homes and NUHS headquarters
- Ensure punctual pick-ups and drop-offs in line with daily schedules
- Plan efficient routes and adapt quickly to changing assignments
Vehicle Management and Support
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any issues promptly
- Assist with loading and unloading medical equipment
- Maintain inventory of vehicle consumables and supplies
Operational Excellence
- Keep accurate driving logs and report incidents immediately
- Respond calmly and appropriately to emergencies or unforeseen situations
- Maintain familiarity with alternate routes to avoid delays
Professional Conduct
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws, safety regulations, and NUHS policies
- Represent NUHS professionally while maintaining confidentiality
- Collaborate effectively with clinicians, operations teams, and fleet coordinators
Requirements
- Minimum GCE ‘O’ Level qualification
- Valid Class 3 (or equivalent) driving licence
- At least 3 years of professional driving experience
- Experience in healthcare, fleet, or transport services is an advantage
- Proven safe driving record with no traffic violations
- Ability to use GPS and route-planning tools efficiently
- Strong time management skills and adaptability to schedule changes
Skills and Desired Knowledge
- Excellent driving skills with strong knowledge of road safety laws
- Basic vehicle troubleshooting skills (e.g., tire pressure, battery checks, warning lights)
