Responsibilities
As a Data Integration Specialist, you will play a key role in managing data pipelines and ensuring the integrity of datasets that power analytics and products. Your main responsibilities include:
- Designing, building, and maintaining Alteryx workflows to ingest, transform, validate, and publish datasets
- Implementing data quality checks such as schema validation, duplicate detection, and anomaly monitoring
- Operating and monitoring scheduled workflows while troubleshooting failures and conducting root-cause analysis
- Optimizing workflow performance for reliability and efficiency
- Collaborating with data engineers and business stakeholders to translate requirements into robust data pipelines
- Documenting workflows, assumptions, and data lineage to support maintainability and audit readiness
- Contributing to integration standards, templates, and continuous process improvements
Requirements
Candidates should possess a strong technical background and the ability to manage complex data processes. Key requirements include:
- Hands-on experience with Alteryx (preferred) or similar ETL/data integration tools such as Informatica, Dataiku, SSIS, or Talend
- Solid working knowledge of SQL
- Basic Python skills for scripting, automation, or validation tasks
- Strong Excel capabilities, including formulas and pivot tables (Power Query is a plus)
- Experience integrating data from cloud storage platforms such as Azure Blob Storage into curated zones
- Effective troubleshooting skills with an operational mindset
- Ability to create clear documentation and collaborate in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with data governance practices and version control tools like Git is an advantage
