Responsibilities

As a Cleaner, you will play an important role in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of Auckland’s public areas. Your key duties include:

• Cleaning public facilities such as restrooms and amenities across Henderson, Rodney, and wider West Auckland.
• Emptying rubbish bins and operating a compactor vehicle.
• Ensuring all cleaning and maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
• Following company safety procedures and reporting any hazards or maintenance needs.
• Working independently and managing time effectively to meet daily schedules.
• Supporting the team and Team Manager in achieving operational goals.

Requirements

• Full, clean driver’s licence (manual driving ability is essential).
• Physically fit and able to perform outdoor, hands-on work.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to take initiative.
• Ability to work shift hours (Thursday to Monday, 1:30pm – 10:00pm).
• Basic computer and smartphone literacy.
• Commitment to health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
