Responsibilities
As a Cleaner, you will play a vital role in maintaining the shipboard environment and delivering excellent service. Key responsibilities include:
- Performing cleaning and maintenance duties in various food and beverage venues and guest areas.
- Fitting garments for guests or crew to determine required alterations, marking and sewing garments as needed.
- Managing the in-house tuxedo program, including rentals, pre-booked tuxedos, and inventory control.
- Operating sewing equipment safely and efficiently to perform alterations and repairs.
- Maintaining and managing the onboard floral cart, preparing, delivering, and selling floral items.
- Demonstrating exceptional customer service skills when interacting with guests and crew.
- Attending work-related meetings, training sessions, and courses as required.
- Fully resolving guest concerns in line with onboard problem resolution guidelines.
- Performing additional job-related duties as assigned by supervisors or management.
Requirements
To be eligible for this role, candidates should meet the following requirements:
- Minimum one to two years of experience as a tailor or seamstress in a commercial dry cleaning or related environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Ability to operate sewing equipment and perform garment alterations.
- Strong customer service skills, aligned with Royal Caribbean International’s standards.
- Flexibility to work in various shipboard areas and perform multiple related tasks.
