Responsibilities
As a Car Mechanic, your main responsibilities will include:
- Inspecting and testing mechanical units to identify faults and malfunctions
- Reviewing work orders and confirming findings with supervisors
- Diagnosing automotive system issues and inspecting engines in operation
- Adjusting, repairing, or replacing parts and components of automotive systems
- Estimating parts and labour costs for vehicle maintenance and repairs
- Performing scheduled maintenance services
- Testing and adjusting units to meet specifications
- Advising customers on completed work and future repair requirements
- Completing reports to document problems and work performed
- Providing professional customer service
Requirements
Candidates should meet the following requirements:
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- English language proficiency
- On-site availability (remote work is not available)
- Prior experience is an asset but not mandatory
