Responsibilities
As a Primary Teacher at Cosmo, you will deliver high-quality, individualized lessons and support student development. Your responsibilities include:
- Providing personalized one-on-one instruction to students
- Preparing lesson materials based on student age and ability
- Updating your teaching availability in the Cosmo app
- Submitting class feedback after each session
- Communicating professionally with students, parents, and Cosmo staff
- Attending all scheduled classes on time and maintaining professionalism
- Creating a fun, engaging, and supportive online learning environment
Requirements
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a recognized US, Canadian, UK, or Australian institution, or from top Singapore universities (e.g., NUS, NTU, SMU, SUTD, SIT, SUSS)
- Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in K–12 (Math, ELA, or SAT prep)
- Familiarity with K–12 curriculum standards
- Reliable high-speed internet connection
- Access to a Windows or Mac computer (minimum CPU requirement of 6000)
- Availability for at least 20 hours per week
- Ability to commit to a minimum of 6 months
- Access to a quiet, private teaching space
- Availability during specified EST time slots, including weekends
