Responsibilities
The Driver will ensure the safe transportation of vehicles and customers while supporting daily operations at the rental location. Key responsibilities include:
- Transporting fleet cars and vans between rental locations
- Delivering vehicles locally or outside the area while following all road safety regulations
- Safely transporting customers, employees, or vendors when required
- Riding with or following another driver to deliver or retrieve multiple vehicles
- Planning travel routes and ensuring vehicle paperwork is accurate and completed on time
- Communicating with team members through a two-way radio or cellular phone when necessary
- Cleaning vehicles or keeping transport buses clean during shifts when required
- Assisting customers with directions, vehicle options, and company policies
- Helping customers load and unload luggage and assisting with vehicle entry or exit
- Performing additional duties as assigned by management
Requirements
Candidates interested in the Driver position must meet the following qualifications:
- Minimum 18 years of age
- Valid Alberta Class 5 driver’s license
- Clean driving record with no more than two moving violations or at-fault accidents in the last three years
- No drug or alcohol-related convictions within the last five years
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds when assisting customers with luggage
- Authorization to work in Canada without requiring sponsorship
- Availability to work the scheduled shift Wednesday to Sunday, 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
