Responsibilities
As a Plumber within NNSWLHD, you will ensure that all plumbing work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to professional standards across hospital facilities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Perform maintenance and installation of plumbing systems across multiple hospital sites
- Ensure all plumbing work complies with safety regulations and professional standards
- Collaborate with other tradespeople, hospital staff, and management to support operational needs
- Troubleshoot and resolve plumbing issues promptly to maintain hospital functionality
- Document maintenance work and ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures
- Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to maintain high standards of practice
Requirements
Candidates must meet the following qualifications and legal requirements:
- Certified and experienced plumber (Level 1–4, dependent on qualifications)
- Ability to undertake plumbing tasks across hospital sites in Northern NSW
- Australian citizen, permanent resident, or legally permitted to work independently in Australia
- Ability to comply with safety regulations and hospital protocols
- Willingness to undergo a probationary period of six months
