Responsibilities

As a Plumber within NNSWLHD, you will ensure that all plumbing work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to professional standards across hospital facilities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Perform maintenance and installation of plumbing systems across multiple hospital sites
  • Ensure all plumbing work complies with safety regulations and professional standards
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople, hospital staff, and management to support operational needs
  • Troubleshoot and resolve plumbing issues promptly to maintain hospital functionality

Requirements

Candidates must meet the following qualifications and legal requirements:

  • Certified and experienced plumber (Level 1–4, dependent on qualifications)
  • Ability to undertake plumbing tasks across hospital sites in Northern NSW
  • Australian citizen, permanent resident, or legally permitted to work independently in Australia
  • Ability to comply with safety regulations and hospital protocols
  • Willingness to undergo a probationary period of six months
