Responsibilities
As a Cleaner at Ventia, you will play a vital role in maintaining clean, safe, and functional environments. Your responsibilities include:
- Performing daily cleaning tasks across accommodation blocks, offices, medical facilities, dining areas, and training buildings.
- Executing duties such as mopping, sweeping, dusting, vacuuming, and bathroom sanitation.
- Restocking bathroom and cleaning supplies as needed.
- Monitoring cleaning stock levels and placing orders when necessary.
- Ensuring all areas remain safe, clean, and welcoming for personnel and visitors.
- Following proper waste disposal and recycling protocols.
- Maintaining and using cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, candidates should meet the following requirements:
- Proven experience in cleaning and familiarity with cleaning equipment.
- Knowledge of safe cleaning agents, disinfectants, and hygiene protocols.
- Current Australian Driver’s License and reliable transport to travel across sites.
- Eligibility to hold a Defence Security Clearance (Australian citizenship required; willingness to undergo an Australian Federal Police Check).
- Ability to work respectfully and inclusively with diverse communities.
