Responsibilities
As a Bus Driver, you will play a vital role in ensuring passengers enjoy a safe, comfortable, and reliable journey. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Safely operating buses and following all traffic and road safety regulations.
- Providing excellent customer service and assisting passengers when required.
- Ensuring timely and efficient transport along designated routes.
- Communicating clearly with passengers and operations teams.
- Conducting vehicle checks before and after shifts.
- Maintaining cleanliness and safety standards on board.
- Managing passenger safety, including school and community transport.
- Adhering to company policies and transport regulations.
Requirements
To be eligible for this role, candidates should meet the following criteria:
- A valid Medium Rigid (MR) driver’s licence or higher.
- Good driving history and strong safety awareness.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Willingness to complete pre-employment medical, criminal history, and working with children checks.
- Current NSW Driver Authority is highly desirable or willingness to obtain one.
- Ability to work flexible hours including mornings and afternoons.
Candidates without the required licence and authority may still be considered and offered support through training programs.
