Responsibilities
As a Cashier – Food & Beverage, your responsibilities include:
- Processing cash, credit, and mobile payments accurately and efficiently
- Ensuring correct change and receipts are provided to guests
- Greeting guests warmly and providing information on menu items, pricing, and promotions
- Operating cash registers and POS systems while maintaining accurate transaction records
- Maintaining a clean and organized cashier and service area
- Assisting with restocking service supplies such as napkins, straws, and bags
- Supporting food service staff during peak service periods
- Addressing guest inquiries and resolving complaints professionally
- Escalating unresolved issues to management when necessary
- Assisting with end-of-day cash reconciliation and transaction reporting
- Monitoring inventory of cashier-related supplies and reporting shortages
- Following safety, hygiene, and health regulations
- Supporting promotional activities, including upselling and discount offers
Requirements
Candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
- 0–1 year of experience in cash handling, customer service, or food service environments
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume setting
- Fluency in both Arabic and English
