Responsibilities
As a Laboratory Technician, your key responsibilities will include:
- Performing basic laboratory tests in accordance with approved test methods and procedures
- Assisting Chemists or Microbiologists with laboratory testing, method development, and QA/QC compliance
- Maintaining Good Housekeeping and adhering to Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) standards
- Properly using and maintaining sample preparation equipment
- Following all Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) procedures
- Accurately recording raw data and test information in logbooks or data sheets
- Supporting Operational Integrity Management System (OIMS) requirements
- Carrying out additional tasks as assigned by supervisors
Requirements
To be considered for this role, candidates should meet the following requirements:
- Fresh graduates with qualifications in Chemistry or chemistry-related studies
- Willingness to work at laboratory locations in Shah Alam or Senai
- Basic understanding of laboratory safety and testing procedures
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures accurately
Skills
Successful candidates should demonstrate:
- Good communication and writing skills in English and/or local languages
- Strong teamwork and a positive working attitude
- Attention to detail and accuracy in laboratory work
- Computer literacy for data recording and reporting
Desired Knowledge
