Responsibilities

  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients in their homes
  • Assist with daily living activities, including personal care and hygiene
  • Support with domestic tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
  • Provide medication reminders as per care plans
  • Assist with transport to appointments, shopping, and social outings
  • Support clients with mobility and maintaining independence
  • Follow individual care plans and company policies
  • Maintain clear communication with clients, families, and the care team
  • Ensure a safe, respectful, and comfortable environment for clients

Requirements

  • Availability to work on a casual basis with flexible hours
  • A valid New Zealand Full Driver’s Licence
  • Access to a reliable personal vehicle with comprehensive car insurance
  • Ownership of a smartphone to use work-related applications
  • Passion for supporting seniors and people living with disabilities
  • Ability to work independently in clients’ homes
