Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning tasks as instructed by management at various client locations
- Empty bins, remove rubbish, and handle recyclable materials appropriately
- Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners and floor machines
- Clean windows, including working at heights, using approved tools and safety methods
- Remove dust, dirt, and debris from floors, walls, ceilings, fixtures, and surfaces
- Apply appropriate cleaning products to remove stains and maintain hygiene standards
- Strip, wax, polish, and maintain floors as required
- Clean and disinfect wet areas such as bathrooms and kitchens
- Conduct routine inspections and record cleaning and maintenance activities
- Report faults, damages, or repair needs to management promptly
- Perform minor adjustments and basic maintenance on cleaning equipment
- Monitor cleaning supplies and request replenishment when needed
Requirements
- Minimum commitment of 30 hours per week
- Availability to work weekends and public holidays
- Ability to start work as early as 7:00 AM
- Physically fit and capable of performing manual cleaning tasks
- Willingness to travel within the Auckland region (travel and fuel costs covered)
- Relevant cleaning experience preferred but not mandatory
