Responsibilities
As a Cleaner at Baptistcare WA, you will:
- Maintain a clean, hygienic, and comfortable environment throughout the facility, including resident rooms and shared spaces.
- Replenish cleaning supplies and ensure all areas meet infection control and food safety standards.
- Assist with laundry duties, moving furniture, and managing waste and recycling bins.
- Complete shift documentation and cleaning checklists accurately.
- Support a safe and welcoming atmosphere for residents, visitors, and team members.
- Follow all organizational policies and safety procedures to uphold high care standards.
Requirements
- Previous experience in cleaning, housekeeping, or aged care settings (preferred).
- Physically fit and capable of handling a busy, hands-on role.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high hygiene standards.
- Understanding of infection control and food safety practices.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends if required.
- Successful completion of background checks (National Police Check, NDIS Worker Screening, and pre-employment medical, as applicable).
