Catholic Housing and Community Services, part of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, is seeking a compassionate and reliable Part-Time Dinner Server to support meal service for elderly residents at St. Mary’s Residence. Responsibilities
- Serve dinner and dessert to 35–40 elderly residents during two meal seatings (4:00 PM & 5:00 PM)
- Ensure proper dining room setup and meal presentation
- Clean serving areas and kitchen equipment, including stove, steam table, dish room, and utensils
- Clean dining room after meal service
- Assist in dishwashing and sanitation tasks
- Provide input on menus as needed and follow planned menus
- Perform additional duties assigned by management as needed
Requirements
- Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks efficiently
- Strong interpersonal skills, especially when working with elderly residents
- Ability to work respectfully and collaboratively with residents and staff
- Willingness to perform cleaning and food service duties
- Must be available Wednesday through Sunday during scheduled hours
