Responsibilities
- Monitor facility activity and document incidents as needed
- Watch for safety hazards, suspicious activities, and potential security concerns
- Patrol assigned areas and check for violations or unsafe conditions
- Enforce regulations, preserve order, and ensure safety protocols are followed
- Respond to emergencies including fires, medical situations, or hazardous conditions
- Alert law enforcement or emergency services when required
- Monitor parking areas to ensure authorized access
- Prepare detailed reports on incidents, accidents, and observations
- Assist patients, staff, and visitors with courtesy and professionalism
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive personal and organizational information
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to obtain and maintain required security licensure
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screening
- Strong verbal communication and active listening skills
- Ability to assess situations quickly and respond appropriately
