Responsibilities
The Cleaning Technician will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and facility standards across various service and recreational areas. Key duties include:
- Performing custodial services according to company and contract standards
- Cleaning restrooms, floors, walls, fixtures, mirrors, and common areas
- Replenishing cleaning supplies and restroom materials
- Collecting and removing trash from assigned locations
- Cleaning laundry rooms, refrigerators, microwaves, and linen areas
- Dusting, spot cleaning, and maintaining outdoor patio spaces
- Watering potted plants and maintaining organized workspaces
- Monitoring facility conditions to ensure cleanliness and safety
- Operating as a Facility Manager for assigned locations
- Providing additional cleaning services as required
- Following safety regulations and proper cleaning procedures
- Maintaining accurate time reporting and documentation
- Safeguarding company and government-provided equipment and property
- Supporting other installation service functions when needed
Requirements
Candidates applying for this role should meet the following qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification
- Minimum of one year of general cleaning experience
- Valid passport
- Ability to obtain and maintain a valid U.S. SECRET or Interim Secret Security Clearance
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Successful completion of employment screening requirements including medical, dental, psychological, and background checks
- Ability to complete CBRN defense training and protective gear fit testing
- Familiarity with safety and security procedures
