Responsibilities
- Assist doctors and nurses in providing patient care according to established care plans.
- Monitor, record, and report vital signs, symptoms, and patient progress.
- Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, and feeding.
- Help patients with mobility, including safe transfers and movement support.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for patients and staff.
- Follow infection control and safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and the healthcare team.
- Organize and manage medical supplies and equipment to ensure availability.
Requirements
- Completion of a recognized Healthcare Assistant training program or equivalent certification.
- Prior experience in a healthcare or hospital setting is preferred.
- Empathetic, compassionate, and patient-centered approach to care.
- Basic understanding of medical terms and patient care procedures.
- Physical fitness and ability to safely assist with patient movement.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
