Responsibilities
As a Cleaner, your main responsibility is to ensure that various public facilities and outdoor spaces are maintained to a high standard. Your duties will include:
- Cleaning and sanitising high-touch surfaces such as taps, sinks, handrails, door handles, and toilets
- Performing routine cleaning tasks including mopping, sweeping, dusting, vacuuming, and bathroom cleaning
- Maintaining outdoor areas by collecting rubbish, blowing leaves, and water blasting surfaces
- Monitoring and replenishing cleaning supplies such as soap, toilet paper, and hand towels
- Ensuring all assigned sites remain clean, safe, and presentable for visitors
Requirements
To be successful in this role, candidates should meet the following criteria:
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Commitment to maintaining safety standards for yourself and others
- Willingness to work a roster that includes Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
- Ideally possess a full Class 1 driver’s licence with manual driving capability
