Responsibilities
- Organize and assign daily cleaning tasks to Housekeeping Attendants to ensure efficient workflow across guest floors and public areas.
- Provide the necessary tools, keys, and cleaning supplies for daily operations.
- Inspect guest rooms and public areas regularly to ensure adherence to hotel cleanliness and quality standards.
- Handle guest requests, feedback, and complaints promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction.
- Communicate room status updates effectively with the Front Office for smooth operations.
- Report maintenance issues and damaged equipment to the Engineering Department.
- Oversee and manage the Housekeeping inventory, ordering supplies as needed to maintain stock levels.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members, ensuring consistent adherence to standards.
- Train new and existing staff on Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and quality assurance guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations in accordance with company policy.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor or senior Housekeeping Attendant in a hotel or resort environment.
- Strong understanding of housekeeping operations and quality control standards.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused attitude.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
- Familiarity with inventory control and housekeeping management systems.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and different shifts as required.
